Bushnell Launch Pro Geolocked ?

Hi all,

I have asked this question to Bushnell support: IS it possible to use it outside the states. They told me yes BUT it only works as a standalone device.
So the software seems not to work. They also mentioned that a VPN masking would not help ?

Any experience on that ? Do they only say that in order to make people in Europe buy the more expensive GC3 ?

VPN masking not help? Think they are trying to mis-direct you. IP address locations are Geo based if you say your in Japan your in Japan! Never had a problem with VPN.

Interested in this as well, as I could save about $1000 if I had a family member who is a resident of US purchase the unit there. I am in Canada and taxes are higher as well as a higher initial price.

I was under the impression you can't actually buy one here, unless you're talking about GC3.
