They seemed to have fixed my connection issues in the new firmware. Before, I was unable to connect using my wifi network (nest mesh network). it seemed to be related to 5GHz band somehow as I was able to get everything connected up if I switched to an older, 2.4 ghz router. But, after the update, no problems connecting with my Nest wifi and I can retire the old router.

I have nest wifi as well. Mine always connected but the range was absolute garbage. My router couldn't be more than 20 feet away and gc3 shows weak/no signal but my phone and computer have excellent signal. Incredibly shocking that a product released in 2021, that is specifically intended to be used wirelessly, has that most pathetic wireless receiver module available

Update on the 1.2.8.4 firmware. I was having the problem the others were having with the Launch Pro not able to find the ball in the hitting area. Tried restarting etc and it still kept happening. Reached out to Bushnell via email, and they got right back to me with the following instructions:
I'm sorry to hear you're running into these issues, there was a firmware update that was released a week or so ago that unfortunately caused some unintended issues. The good news is there is a way to manually rollback your Launch Pro's firmware to the previous version. Try this:- Download the GC3/LP Manual Firmware File v1.1.8.8: https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/Xv9M4HT0Gw
- Connect the Launch Pro via USB-C
- Open GC3/LP device from Windows Drive Folder
- Drop firmware file into drive folder
- Allow the device to run through its automatic power cycle
- Confirm firmware version on device menu
Unfortunately, I followed these and my Launch Pro is now bricked. It just starts up to the splash screen and stays there with a light blue light. I thought I followed the directions properly, but it's unclear what they mean by "Windows Drive Folder" (I assumed its the Launch Pros Device Folder that's accessible on your PC after you connect via USB). Also, not clear what "Automatic Power Cycle" is. I restarted...but perhaps it was supposed to auto cycle somehow. Anyway now waiting on further instructions for Bushnell. It's a great device, but I feel like I have spent too much time debugging first their lousy wifi connectivity and now this. I am going to ask for a refund. Probably they will say no but I'll press and see what happens. That said, I would probably upgrade to the Quad, I think they are pretty bullet proof and the additional club data would be nice.
