How could the GC Quad be improved?

I think consensus is that the GC Quad is the top dog for indoor golf/sim -- at least for photometric. I'm not saying a new release is imminent, I'm just curious how GC Quad owners feel it could be improved?

Any features you wish it had that it doesn't? Anything that is mediocre and could use a refresh?

Not having to put stickers on clubs. Only used my friends and that is a huge issue. I don’t like using his clubs and don’t want to sticker for short sessions

I think the stickers is one thing they could get rid of and maybe only require when one needs exacting data for fitting purposes, but others can accept within wider tolerances. Also, I believe they could likely add some new data parameters that are designed with club fitters in mind.

It would be interesting if they started to measure the grooves for club data. I bet that requires a very clear image and imaging technology that comes at a premium. I wonder what Foresight values that premium at.

How about measuring the direction of the face, lie angle and loft at address just before the club starts back and also the first few inches measuring the path always from the ball. 100% though I’d take the face angles before the path. This would be an unbelievably great function for the putting upgrade.

A couple of enhancement ideas (not sure feasibility/patent protection implications) for GC4 or future:

1. Increase on device metrics. Lots of pros (per Youtube videos) do not pull out their phones/tablets but read the numbers off the screen when on the range with the GCQuad. Larger screen with more metrics/info or ability to swap metrics currently shown would make it even more range friendly.
2. Integrate with other 3d measurement devices. SwingCatalyst could be a step in this direction, but could go even further. Example is a golf shaft attached swing analyzer (several on the market for 5+ years) to also show shaft / hand path. Beyond could be integration with other premium products (all outside my price range though) like HackMotion or Gears.
3. This one and #4 are from the Golfzon (South Korean golf simulation competitor) that are probably patented, but maybe can come up with similar that wouldn't be infringing. Slow motion capture of what is happening around impact. So store what the GC4 cameras are seeing and then make that a video. This is a bit like sinkingputts's idea for measurement a few inches before and after ball but this would be a video.
4. Golfzon also has different surfaces you're supposed to use for when you're in the rough / bunker depending on where you are on the virtual course. Seems like integrating this with the FSX software would be feasible.
