I had my first hole in one on the sim yesterday at (Maryland National on Play). Anyone have any idea how much easier it is (statistically speaking) to get a hole in one on the Foresight sim vs. real life? For me, I've been playing real golf for 41 years and only had 1 ace. I've had the sim for 2 winters and had 1 ace.

I've had Foresight sim for ~5 years and only have one true hole-in-one. Hit the pin too many times to count and holed out from fairway several times. Aces are not easy although it must be for some based on closet to hole challenges online.

I think the hole physics in FSX 2020 actually make it more difficult, but the frequency in which you play the same shots under the same conditions and a perfect lie make it a little easier.

I’ve had my sim about a year now. Had 5-6 hole in ones on TGC where I play most, and even an albatross on a par 5. In 25 years of playing golf I’ve had 1 “real” hole in and only a handful of eagles.
It must be easier… perfect lies, no breeze (if the setting is off) and greens that run true - although I guess this can work for you and against you. I’m sure there must be something about playing so many shots close together too… ie you’re always warmed up in a sim, whereas you might have ten minutes between shots if you’re unlucky in course.
