    Carnival Game Inaccuracy

I've been using the GCQuad and FSX 2020 for a solid month with very high satisfaction - all things have seemed extremely impressive as is generally reviewed relative to on screen response and accuracy across the board. I just pulled up the carnival games tonight for the first time and was surprised at experience. Seemed almost the exact opposite with the ball striking the screen no where close to where the game then shows the result i.e. ball hits the balloon in the lower righ corner on the screen but the balloon in the upper right corner is what pops.

Don't get me wrong... the carnival games never entered the slightest realm of a consideration when I went with the package but struck me as odd that it would so wildly inaccurate when the golf expereicne has been amazing so far. Wondered if I might be doing something wrong. Welcome anyone confirming my experience and/or advising on what I might be doing wrong.

Thought I'd check here ahead of bugging FS tech support.

    Thanks in advance.

I’m having the exact same problem. The ball is WAY off vertically. Anyone know of a fix?

Same problem here. The foresight tech support guy basically said we know it sucks but we have so many other things we think are more important to fix that way down on the list.

Thanks sinkingputts. That makes sense. Not a shock.

FWIW, I read somewhere else that this is a bug with the room config tool. Others have had success by setting the aspect ratio in game to 16:9 no matter what resolution you're actually running. I have not tried this yet myself however.

I’ll try this later tonight and tell you if it works

OK I tried this and it actually did bring the image down but now its to far away. even when I went back to 4:3 ratio it kept the image centered but its so far away you'd only have to in about a 3x3 foot box to hit all the balloons.

Have never been able to get Fairgrounds to work, and have given up. Would be steamed if I had paid for it, but whatever.

Pretty sad that i put a $35k foresight system in my garage and the 5 and 7 year old kids don’t want to use it. They go to their golf lessons then come home telling my how cool the Trackman is because they can collect monsters on that software. Dad can’t win
