I purchased the Sim in a Box setup from Foresight which included a GCQuad and Eiki EK-300U projector. I have the projector set to the side for RH golfers. My screen/hitting area dimensions are to Foresight reccomendations. This set up has been working excellent for over 5 months. Recently I tried to make a slight Keystone adjustment to make the right side of the screen a bit more clear as with the side set up its just slightly blurry compared to the left. After pushing one movement of the keystone adjustment once it jumped to a largely trapezoidal picture and now I can't get it adjusted for the projector in the same position. During initial setup I hardly had to do anything as it appeared to be set correctly from Foresight. Did Foresight set this up with a code that can be entered into the projector as the setting needed or what can I do to get back to square full screen as the keystone adjustment on the projector now will not allow for enough movement.
Lost Keystone adjustment

If the projector is not storing the Keystone corner correction settings after a power cycle do the following.Originally posted by SCDrJ View PostFollowing... I can't get keystone settings to stay when projector is turned off.- Use the provided remote and go to the settings menu
- Make sure that the "Standby Mode" is set to "Normal"
- Make sure the "Keystone" is set to "Store"

OK....solved my problem. As stated above when I originally set up my Simulator it was amazingly close right out of the box. When I placed the Eiki projector on the cart off to the side I basically just adjusted the little legs and moved it in and out and made some corner keystone adjustment and we were all good. Even with it off to the side. No H/V Keystone adjustment, no lens shift. It wasn't perfectly clear on both sides but generally really good. How I got that lucky I don't know.
So the other night when fine tuning thru the H/V keystone adjustment it zero's out all I had did with corner keystone. Didn't know that but I do now. Was able to do what I needed to make the picture the same with the same process I originally did.
Really not that up to speed on projectors but basically on the Eiki-308U if you can only use H/V or Corner Keystone individually. If you used one after the other it zero's the other out. At least on mine and it might be another setting I have off. When trying to "square" up the screen the 308U only has 15 deg of horizontal correction which isn't enough. I needed to make all adjustments with the physical position of the projector, lens shift and corner keystone adjustment.Last edited by Highmark; 05-05-2022, 06:42 PM.

Went back and looked at the manual again, that trick isn't in the part about keystone setup, but it is in the back where all the menus are detailed out.
Thanks again!
