so I keep my quad mostly in one place and I unplug it to let the battery cycle down occasionally. However, recently I posted I was looking for a new power supply as mine failed. I bought the suggested one and made sure all the specs matched and it worked great for 3 weeks before crapping out ( no power light not charging) Yes I've double and triple checked the specs. I put a new one on yesterday and low and behold it crapped out overnight after charging the unit to 100%. I have no idea what is going on. I've had it plugged into different outlets, surge protected. Is the battery surging back and blowing the fuse in these things? Any help would be appreciated. I cant keep buying a new power supply every week. Ive only owned my quad for a year and a half and have only been using it for less than a year.

That is very strange and this is what I would try:
Take out the battery and leave it out.
Actually, this is what I do. I keep the battery out and in the backpack for when I want to go to the range, or if I'm going to do something at home that makes me need to move the quad around. It doesn't need the battery to work and you're only aging your battery. Supposedly it's best to leave it at 70% charge or so, but my batter acts like it's brand new after 4-5 years and I keep it fully charged, so do whatever you want with that.
At least you'll know if it's a batter issue or a quad or power issue. .

Thanks! As an update, just chatted with Foresight, and they are going to send me a new battery and power supply to try. If that doesn't fix the issue then Ill need to send the unit in. Hoping this does the trick. Many thanks to their customer service for reaching out. I will likely keep the battery in for a month to make sure I don't have this issue anymore with the power supply, but will definitely start keeping it out of the unit....I don't know why that never dawned on me before.

Figured Id update this. after telling me they were sending me a new battery and power supply, they sent me an email asking me to send my unit in instead. So, I shipped my unit in, and it took them 4 weeks to ship it back to me. Had to retell the issue to a couple different people, only for them to tell me that it must be something wrong with my electrical wiring (which has been checked and is fine) and that my unit should be plugged into a surge protector (which it was when the power supplies started failing). So now I charge the battery to almost full, unplug it and play it until it runs out. I wont be leaving it in with the battery as I'm still worried its getting hot. Im glad to have my quad back , but if you have to send your unit in, dont expect it back quickly.
Cheers!
