Creating custom course in FSX 2020

    Relative software newcomer here.
In these threads for best games to play when people are over users say to make your own par 3 course from the best par 3s in your library.
I have attempted to do this but don’t see how, step by step, to create a custom compilation.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Found it in Play menu….can’t believe I didn’t see the custom course button.

Can you save a hole’s specific tee box (Black vs Blue)?
I am putting the holes in order of ascending distance so practice is more like random play on the course.

I made one years ago but it would almost always crash. It's a really cool feature when it works...so please post if it does work ok for you.

And no, from what I remember, you select one tee box for all, or at least that's how it was, which is annoying. Would be ideal if you can select on a per hole basis.

        Played tonight.
It worked great…not a single missed shot or crash.

I added the Practice button so each hole is a mini range.
Easy to skip the hole so you don’t need to putt.

        I made 3 par 3 courses and separated them by yardages 100-150, 150- 180, and 180-220

The back tee seems to be the default yardage.

Pretty awesome feature that lets you use your courses more.

I am going to make a couple of dog leg right, dog leg left par 4 courses, as well as a drivable par 4 course for practice.

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea this feature existed. I was thinking I would have to buy a par 3 course to make it easier to practice irons in an interesting way. Using this feature is a much better option.

I'll have to give it another try then, thanks!

Wow, I successfully played the custom course I made prob a few years ago and I've never made it all the way through until today. Works!

I have a few customs i put together. Really wish you could choose different tee boxes for each hole though

Yes, totally agree. When I made my course forever ago, I made a list and selected what tee box and then went in there was was like....oh man!
