    Next Gen GCQUAD Features

I was thinking what features should the next Generation QCQUAD which may be called QC OCTO who knows. What would make me want to upgrade to a newer version. What are your guys thoughts? Here are my thoughts

    1) Ability to track club head speed without hitting a ball (for speed training with clubs like superspeed golf

    2) face angle to target at address. This would be incredibly awesome if it was a real-time number on the top of the device.

    3) Putting software that actually shows the post putt photo of the real ball not a digital representation.

Even if it was offered, I would never use my Quad for speed training. I'd imagine that replacing the flash on the Quad is substantially more expensive than the $150 that you'd spend on a PRGR Black radar for this purpose. With that said, Dynamically tracking face angle at setup would be an incredibly useful feature for sure. FS should just overhaul the whole putting presentation in its software and integrate a module that is similar to something like Exputt RG sim and a breakdown of info along the lines of what Capto offers.

I could be mistaken but pretty sure there is no flash that will ever go out on the Quad. Pretty sure I'm in the hundreds of thousands of swings on mine.

You must be thinking GC2 because GCQuad did away with the flash already . That was probably number one thing people asked for when this same question was posted 6 years ago before GCQuad.

I mean exactly what I said. Common sense and observation should inform that there's some sort of flash function being triggered to enable photo capture. While they may differ from the type found in HMT, the flash is still emitted by diodes with a limited lifespan: https://golf.com/gear/how-it-works-f...aunch-monitor/

You must just mean no stickers then because we are already getting club strike location with the clubhead data.

Measurements of what shaft is doing and also, removing the need for stickers. Apparently this is possible now, but margin of error is too great.

Absolutely no stickers would be awesome. But if it takes away from accurate data I'd would care to much. I hate playing in tourney's and having to remove them all so I'm not penalized.

Better support for swing cameras - right now we need separate software.

I would like to see a 5th cam used for basic ball measurements needed for simulation that can measure the ball when device is placed in a “sleeve” vertically above the hitting area. Then you would have a quad that could also do left and right handed play.
