Hi all,
I'm really confused switching my SkyTrak TGC 2019 installation over to a GC3 / Pro Tee license.
I was told to buy a hardware platform transfer, which I did, and I was sent an email that told me to "Please activate this new TGC Key:"
No instructions for where to do this, but I opened the TGC Simulator Console and pasted the code they sent me in there, and clicked activate.
Nothing happened, but each time I open the TGC Sim Console it seems to have saved what I pasted in there.
What do I do next??
I downloaded and installed the normal Pro Tee interface, and it's asking for a Pro Tee license key.
Is this something that ProTee need to also send me separately?
Do I need to download and install another version of TGC?
I saw a page online to 'register The Golf Club' software but I've already done that when I bought the life time version a few years ago when I got Skytrak.
Do I need to do that again now?
I don't want to mess my account up, and the page says something about not using that form if you're transferring a license.
I have emailed ProTee support with my machine ID, which the email said to do, but with it being the weekend I'm not sure if I'll get a response until next week, and I'm not even sure what I'm waiting for?
What's even more confusing, is the TGC Sim Console shows a different machine ID to the Pro Tee interface. Is that right??
I've sent both the ProTee support but not sure if that's just confusing things.
Has anyone else swapped hardware platforms and can explain what they needed to do?
Not sure why the instructions for all this can't be a little easier to follow.
