  • GC QUAD and Low point measurement

I recently purchased a GC QUAD and surprised that I don't see a Low point measurement, as I've seen with Trackman. I would think, especially when using the club markers, that could be measured. Am I missing something here, do you somehow need radar to get that?

    Thanks,
    Marty

You getting the location of ball contact if you ball is sitting on the ground should be easy to know where the low point in at contact. Interested to know why that measurement is important to you. How are you using that data point in your practice sessions?

Well...When I'm on the grass range outdoors, yes that's easy, but what about indoors off a mat. Working on trying to maintain a consistent low point, I believe, is important.

Interesting. If you use a trackman indoors on a mat wouldn't you end up with the same low point accuracy problem because the ground doesnt give way? I'm not trying to throw a wet blanket on you just wondering. I think all the different data they could give us would be a bonus. I'm just trying to think, Does trackman give you the low point in a range horizontal down the target line or just a vertical low pint measurement? If so how far along the target line will it measure 6 inches or so? If it measures low point somewhere along the target line yes that would be cool, vertically not so much.

I think it is a helpful measurement as well. However, I suspect t think the more important value (at least for me is attack angle).

I think attack angle is important as well, but even if you have a great attack angle you could still be hitting the ball a bit heavy indoors and not really know it. I guess you would hit the ball higher on the face if you hit it a bit fat, but I'd still love to have that low point measurement.

I'd also love to have this data and can't figure out why Foresight charges like a SasS software company, but is crap at developing decent software.
