Desperately trying to get my GC2 out of 1 dot mode

Did you find a solution? I recently purchased a gc2 and hmt and facing the same issue; it could identify one dot and four dot mode; however in the four dot mode it only adds face to path data;

my issue ended up being caused by the dots I was using. I tried a set from a different supplier and that solved my issue.
