It’s 2023 now and I’m ready for to use with FSX2020. I only have i little bit of distance between my room walls and the hitting area so probably need a wider angle. I don’t think going to be using swing catalyst and i like to a camera that can capture in lower lighting. I don’t necessarily need it to be 4K or even 1080 i rather be able to catch videos with zero blur. Any suggestions?

Joining/Bumping this thread. I too am on the hunt for the right camera and don't have much distance between where I swing and can't mount cameras, so a wide angle will likely be needed as well. I will let you know if I find anything, but hopefully the community here can help us out.

I am running two of the Imaging Source DBK 33UX273 cameras, TBL 2.5 C 5MP lenses, and TLH CS-F holders for the lenses. I too have not much distance from wall to hitting area and this lens works though there is a little fisheye so take away may look like its outside ball line a little when it is not. I have no issues at all in swing catalyst. I did/do have issues in FSX though as the high fps/resolution was causing a caching issue after a few swings and the cameras would stop working. So if using within FSX you need to dial back the resolution and FPS (running 1 camera prob fine vs. 2 as well)... but in swing catalyst I'm running around 120fps on high resolution with great results. Lighting plays the biggest role in FPS here, as well as sensor size.
I may look into a camera higher quality/larger sensor for better image and fps but price jumps VERY fast. The above setup was about $900 USD for both cameras.

Anybody have issues with the cameras dropping in FSX? Mine go black and I have to go refresh them in the settings over and over throughout a session. I have these Kayeton cameras but interested in upgrading. Anybody try a Go Pro in webcam mode?
