Ball tracking delay in FSX 2020 on GC2/HMT

Hello all. It's been a few months since I used my GC2/HMT. Went to hit some balls today and noticed that there is now a long delay between the time I hit the ball and the time it tracks on the screen (like a Skytrak). In some case the delay was 15 to 20 seconds. Rebooted and reconnected GC2 but still having intermittent delays.
Any input/advice? I'll be checking firmware version, searching the forum etc.. but was hoping someone has seen this and can advise.

had that on one shot yesterday. I assumed it was a poor connection somewhere. Only happened once.
