Yardage and data on FSX Play different than on LaunchPro

I'm pretty new to sims and have really just been messing around with the range on FSX 2020 until last night when I tried out the range on FSX Play. I immediately noticed that the yardage displayed on the screen on my LaunchPro appeared to be accurate and consistent with what I am used to, but FSX Play was consistently showing my yardages between 5-10 yards shorter than the LaunchPro screen (and FSX 2020). I double checked that units was set to yards and not meters, and looked around the menus but didn't really find anything helpful. Has anyone dealt with something like this before?

You might be at a higher elevation than sea level and the BLP is displaying your correct yardage at your elevation and FSX 2020 is converting down to sea level. There should be a setting in FSX 2020 that allows you to use your current elevation and or set a desired elevation. Hope this helps.

Great idea. Didn't think of that. I'll take a look. Thanks.
