I was seeing a ball tracking delay in FSX 2020. I had recently moved my computer a bit further away from GC2/HMT location so I assumed that was why.
Tried connecting with a USB cable so I could keep the distance I had. With USB cable connected, there is no data on GC2 screen and no data screen was coming up on FSX. The delay was gone but now there is no data screen that comes up after you hit that shows ball and club data. And when I click on the "Analysis" icon on the top of the FSX range page it does nothing.
Switched back to bluetooth. Same thing. No consistent delay but now I don't get any data screen on FSX. Rebooted and reconnected several times but no help.
Sent a message to Foresight but was hoping someone here could shed some light until I hear back.
Is it normal to lose the info in the GC2 screen when connected via USB? And even if it is, why no data screen in FSX?
I know there are some shenanigans with how retailers use GC2 and a special version of software to sell clubs but not sure why I can't get things back to normal when connected via bluetooth now.
Assuming I can get the software/data screen issue resolved, I guess I will have to pursue some bluetooth extender device to keep my computer a further distance away.
Thanks all for your time.
