So far I have been able to pretty much set my graphic as high as I’ve wanted to on FSX Play with my 3060 ti. Since the latest update the graphics definitely look better but now some courses are nearly unplayable do to stuttering no matter how much I turn the settings down. I just played 9 on The Farms course and was shocked at how bad it was. One step forward and two back it seems. I mean it looked great but just so laggy. Ugh.

Same thing here. I mentioned before, Longleaf is a great course for senior golfers but can’t be played now after the new update. I sent an email earlier this year to a person who talked me into buying the GC2 when they first started. This person, who will remain nameless at this tine. is now is in a high position at Foresight. Basically, the email stated how great Foresight was and how great SFX2020 was. I then told him how bad FSX Play is and no one seems to care. I ended the email saying, “unfortunately, this will probably fall on deaf ears”. Guess what, it did.

I have noticed the same thing wrt the improved graphics settings and improved video quality. I have been focusing on the range and the pitch & Putt course lately and have not seen ay stuttering but will go check the Farms to check it out. I can however run swing catalyst with two cameras capturing 1080 video at 240fps and FSX Play at it's highest settings on the range without issues which is decent progress IMO. I do not have Longleaf so cannot check that. May check a few other courses if time permits.Last edited by jasonreg; 03-10-2023, 06:04 PM.

So I just played 9 holes on The Farms and I had no stuttering issues whatsoever. In fact, though I have not used my sim that much since the past update, I have not seen any stuttering at all actually. I am still running an RTX2080Super which is pretty comparable to your 3060Ti. Will try a few more courses over the next few days and let you know if I see any stuttering.Originally posted by tkvaughn999 View PostSince the latest update the graphics definitely look better but now some courses are nearly unplayable do to stuttering no matter how much I turn the settings down. Interesting. I know so much can vary from one computer to another and I have never really had this issue before even right after this upgrade. I first noticed it the other day on Q at GRidge. I know I'm be prompted for a Windows update but not sure that's the issue. I'll have to mess around with it a little more this weekend.

Just saw the cost of e6 is $2,500. At that price it is probably better to just upgrade the gaming computer.

That is good to hear. I was reviewing my settings to see if I do anything not listed as a recommended setting/procedure. Only things I can think of are:- Disabling AV during all installations.
- Running FSX Play as Administrator.
