  • Saving games on FSX Play

I must be very stupid because I can't save a game in FSX Play. When I exit a game, I click Yes, save and exit, I write the name to save the game, click save and then ok. The game is supposed to be save. When I start up again and go to courses, I click the 3 bars in the right hand corner. Isn't my saved game supposed to be under Load Games? If I'm doing something wrong, please le me know.

You are correct. When you load FSX Play and select the courses option, when you get to the screen with your favorites and all your courses you click on the top right corner icon and it allows you to load saved games. See Pic top right corner - at the bottom of the list is Load Games:

I should note though that I am pretty sure you need to be signed into your FSX account both when you save the game and when you re-open it. I do not believe (though I could be wrong) the game is saved on your local PC.

Thank you for your help. I'm pretty sure I am logged in when I open the program. My login name is always on the top left corner.

When i start FSX Play, my user name appears on the top left corner and all of my courses are available to play.  Doesn't that mean i am signed in?  If not, how do I sign in?

Interesting question. I know that FSX Play and the courses are all stored on your local PC. As such, you can play them without being signed in. The way I know I am is on the player tab - at the right hand side of your name, it will tell you signed in ("Connected" in Blue) or not in Gray.

That helped. I checked my user name and I was logged in. Now it let me save a game using my user name. For the hell of it, I started another game and tried saving it using another name and it worked this time as well I tried it several more times using different names and it worked with all of those names. I don't know what I did differently but now it appears I can save a game, at least for now. Thanks for all of the help.
