  • FSX Pro with iPad

Is or has anyone used FSX Pro with an iPad mirrored or tethered to a TV via HDMI?

Any issues or is it better to run this through a PC? Not looking for sim play at the moment just game improvement and hoping to be able to get that done with a significant hardware purchase.

FSX Pro looks better on PC than iPad in my hands. No problems in the pc version.

iPad version is difficult to view all info imo bc of the horizontal pane layout under the range view. I do use iPad at the range, but prefer the pc at home (and I would prefer an iPad only solution but it’s not wonderful - it’s functional).

If you’re setting up a semi or permanent spot at home, spring for the gaming pc. My two year old Lenovo laptop still runs everything sufficiently, with laptop monitor mirrored to a 27” monitor I put an IR adapter over for touchscreen input, and second screen is the projector at 1080p.

To overcome the issue of not having a universal session folder across devices, I created dashboard I import all CSV data into and recreate the environment in one location.
