Newly released courses

I'm just reaching out to see if anyone else is having this problem. Other than some minor but still irritating bugs, I have been pretty please with FXS Play. However, I am having flickering problems (not sure what the technical name is) with either newly released or newly updated courses. Since March 24, Foresight has released the following courses that I have had previously: Quail Hollow, Abu Dhabi, Oakmont, Cog Hill, Ballyowen, Pelican Hill and Celtic Manor. With the exception of Ballyowen, each of these courses have been flickering, some more and some less. I went back to checked some of my courses prior to this date and there are no issues. Tall Pines, a course I have had no problems with before was recently updated. Now it is unplayable. The same thing happened to Longleaf when it was updated. The Foresight Sports Practice Facility started flicking on occasion after it was updated. Windows had a recent update on my computer but that didn't seem to matter. I will contact tech support tomorrow but was just curious if anyone else is having this issue.

Yes. I get flickering on Quail Hollow when the ball gets airborne. It’s like it’s dropping frames. It’s the only one I’ve noticed it on.

Just an update if anyone is interested. Just downloaded Doral today and it too has the flickering problem. I spent about an 1 1/2 hrs on the phone yesterday with Kevin from tech support. He was terrific but didn’t find out what was causing the problem. My computer exceeds Foresights minimum requirements. We updated everything and uninstalled and reinstalled FSX Play. I sent Kevin videos of what was happening so he could try to duplicate it on his end. Hopefully he finds a solution. Again, Kevin has been great and is trying to help. I hope he can

I have to give Kevin another shout out. He is trying to help. He asked for the lasted FSXLogFile( I don't know what that is so he sent me directions on how to find it and send to him). He was going to pass it on to the engineers to look over and make changes in the next update. Hopefully we get that update soon.

It is really interesting ( and annoying) to me that some of the courses show up available for download in fsx play automatically as well as updates, and others, like doral, I have to get online and download an installer for. anyone have an explanation for this?
