tips for connecting to FSX Pro at the range?

New BLP user here, don't have the sim setup yet, but grabbed the BLP when it was discounted so ive been taking it to the range to practice. The problem is you need an internet connection to authenticate through FSX live to login to the app.

Ive had luck using FSX Pro on my iphone, but its not a great experience with such a small screen. I do have an ipad but its only wifi enabled.

Has anyone been able to find a workaround to get it to work without connecting to the internet? Was thinking I could try to connect to my wifi hotspot on my iphone but that didnt seem to work.

Also thought I could just connect at my house and then just drive to the range, any other suggestions?

I have not done it in a while but I connect to the BLPs built in Wi-Fi while in the range.

how did you login into the app without wifi?

You could always use your phone as a hotspot.

You join the BLPs WiFi in the iPads settings
