  • GC2 to GSPro Connection Problems

I've purchased GSPro and attempting to connect it to my (new to me) GC2 unit. First, I accidentally downloaded the Flightscope version of GSPro, but am not sure if that matters or not. I've reached out to support to see if I need to download a different version.

However, I've also connected my GC2 to my computer via bluetooth and then tried to run GSPro. No shots are recognized, so I'm sure I'm messed up somewhere along the way. The official GSPro GC2 setup youtube video is pretty short and didn't seem to help. That video recommends using a third party bluetooth dongle and says it will recommend a unit in the description (there is no info in the description).

Are there any in-depth setup resources? Any advice?

First think you should do is purchase a USB BT dongle. There is great success using the Asus USB-BT400 or USB-BT500. Then make sure to disable your internal BT on your computer. Put dongle 6" to 12" away from GC2, and just use Simple Control to connect. It is really pretty seamless.

There is no "Flightscope" version of GSPro. GSPro is GSPro. When you log into GSPro using the launcher, then the Connect box will pop up. That is what you use to connect to GSPro. NOTE: don't be like me and then "X" out the Connect box. I was a complete idiot and it wouldn't work because hitting the "X" closes the program. You just need to minimize it, not close it completely.

Well, there definitely is a "Flightscope" add-on of some sort. When I first downloaded it, it asked me what device it was going to be used with. I got Foresight and Flightscope confused and picked Flightscope. Now when I run GSPro, a separate "Flightscope" window pops up and shows 0.0 for like 10 metrics and it says flightscope along the top. I imagine it's the Mevo launch monitor attributes. When I hit, nothing happens (even after following all of your other instructions). So, it does seem I may have made the wrong choice. I've emailed support and will ask them what I need to do. Thanks for the other info though. Will follow those recommendations.

It is recommended to communicate with gspro to switch between different hardware, and it should work normally after switching
