    BLP Ball vs Ball/Club Data

I'm in the market for a new launch monitor and have settle on Bushnell Launch Pro. Since they have a new version, I'm wondering which I need. I'm planning on using GSPro as my main software. My handicap ranges from 13 - 16 at any given time. Is getting club data worth the extra $1500? I'm hoping to improve my game, but mostly to have fun and play various courses with friends. Any and all help is appreciated.

I’m in the same boat….I decided to wait until next year and see how things play out with the current choices. In the meantime the skytrak works perfect with Gspro, no subscription and my moron buddies wouldn’t know the difference anyway. I do want some club data for sure though for practice. I’ve reached a point in my game where the additional data would really help me fine tune for the better.

Club data is more for practice. The ball data is all you need for simulation. There is no point in getting the club data unless you plan on using it for practice. All you get is club speed/smash factor as well as angle of attack and club path. I would say these are somewhat helpful but personally not worth the extra cost of $1500 but that depends on the individual.
