    Recommended Software for GC2

    Hi All,

I purchased a used Foresight GC2 LM that I am using in my basement practice area. I have been using the analog readout as feedback but would like to upgrade to a computer screen with driving range to see trajectories. What is the lowest cost to get a driving range program for the GC2? I emailed E6 and they said I would have to get a software license from Foresight but was not sure the cost, I have called Foresight but have not been able to reach their sale team yet.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thank you!

various people are selling the FR1 demo disks which have the range and one course. You don't need a FR1 dongle for this software to run. If I remember correctly there are some for sale on ebay for something like 30 bucks..

Good gravy, whatever you do, don't buy a copy of FSX2020 from Foresight for $3,000 for access to the driving range. If you need a range only, the above suggestion is good - FR1 if you can find it. Else, the cheapest I can think of is GSPro for 250/year or 550 for a lifetime license (but the lifetime will only get updates for that version).

If you have a later model GC2 with apple bluetooth there is the free Foresight app, which you could then cast to a bigger screen. Very basic. GSPro is the way to go. I connect via usb to the PC. Easy and just works. No foresight subscription required!

FR1 dongle and a set of all the old courses ...low cost, you do not need a power graphics card ..and the classic range
