Game changer for BLP

I’m looking into GC 3 or BLP but recently came across that there was a workaround for BLP using game changer (?) to use GSPro without subscription. Is this a still a valid option? If so, how do I go about getting the software? Does it provide any club data if it is ball only version?

If I go to GC3 route, do I still need to purchase FSX in order to use GSPro? I appreciate your help.

Your GC2 should work with GSPro without any connector.

There is now an official interface and integration between Foresight devices and GSPro. This is the lay of the land as of today:

• GC2 and/or GC2/HMT needs nothing to connect to GSPro. The only cost is the 250/year subscription to GSPro;
• GC3 requires an FSX2020 license to connect to GSPro. Therefore, a one time charge of 3000 (absurd) and 250/year for GSPro. Gamechanger is discouraged, and Foresight has threatened to lock the device if discovered Gamechanger is being used to connect to GSPro. Use at your own risk.
• Quad: same as GC3. Same answer for Gamechanger, above.
• Hawk: same as GC3. Same answer for Gamechanger, above.
• BLP requires a Gold sub to connect to GSPro. Thus, 500/year for Gold, 250/year for GSPro - 750/year total. Same answer for Gamechanger, above.

Hmm... doesn't that go against the laws to protect farmers to allow them to repair and modify their farm equipment? (US). Well, I was thinking about buying a BLP/GC3 but this just turned me off of buying either. When I buy hardware, I own it. It's kind of like the first computer I owned (modded to the max with my own electronic mods). I don't lease or rent. Well, sad.
