  • GCQuad not recognized

We are having a problem with the GCQuad and FSXPro.

The device IS recognized by USB in windows directly. And I updated its firmware to the most recent firmware.
It also works on the same computer with FSX2020 and swing catalyst
When I go to device in settings ( in FSXPro) I hit search , it searches and never finds it .

I dont really know what to do . Would appreciate any help.

I had a similar issue. I can not turn my GC3 on until I have the software booted up and it saying it can't find a device. if i turn it on then, wait a minute or so, then refresh it will find it.

That's odd. I'm going to assume FSX Pro is on the latest version but that would be the first thing I would look at. For trouble shooting purposes, have you tried connecting the device via ethernet and verifying FSX Pro still doesn't see it? There's a large majority of people who have had better luck with connecting the GCQ/GC3 to their PC via ethernet but the fact that Windows and the other programs see the device is odd.

There were a number of folks who saw a connection issue in the past few weeks - generally those connected through USB.

Most blame a recent Windows update for the glitch and almost everyone has just had to restart things a few times and it seems to work once again. Once it reconnects it seems solid.

It is a weird glitch which I am not certain anyone actually figured out other than it seems to go away once you reconnect.
