Have to love how descriptive they are… I do know they were patching the duplicate name issue per a support ticket.

Doesn’t look like they’ve updated their task board either. Was hoping to see a few of the “in progress” ones in this update.

Did you guys get the update via the FSX Play app? The last few updates popped up in my queue within the software but this one doesn't seem to be.

I hate to say this, I’m a little gun shy about any new update. Every time I download a new update, other problems come up. Hopefully this isn’t the case with this one.

Still wasn't able to pick up the version update directly within FSX Play but instead did a full uninstall and fresh install. Getting extremely tired of losing added/favorite players each version upgrade. Started to re-populate names but ran into an issue where names were overwriting previously typed names.

Also running into a glitch when selecting vertical data tiles where they disappear completely, but if I mouse-click where they should be on the left, the data tile menu pops up.

Not super thrilled as I did a complete uninstall, removing all Foresight folders and files hidden in App Data, Program Data, and in the Registry...

I've never full umitstalled then reinstalled since the beginning of FSX Play and I have very few issues compared to most on this forum. I doubt it means anything but I just install new update as prompted after downloading it from website.

I typically do that too, or run the update when it pops within FSX Play. This time around decided to do a fresh install to try and resolve a few other odd issues within the software and while those cleared up, a few new ones have crept up (vertical data tiles not displaying, auto-update tool error message).

Is it pulling data from FSX Live when you sign in perhaps?

I downloaded it via the website and just clicked to install. I did not uninstall the previous version, and my courses and favorite's were still intact.

All Foresight Sports software resources - including recent downloads, user guides/video and other support-related resources.

The graphics setting has a frame-rate cap option now.

Though I have an RTX 4080 running to my 4K projector, I run on Medium quality as sometimes on High or Ultra ( course dependent ) I'd get the occasional black flash. This is 100% repeatable doing a flyover on some courses. I'm going to play Pebble later today and will see if that has improved.

Also on my first game yesterday, I swear I noticed a bit more "dimension" to the graphics. I wasn't specifically looking for any visual improvement, just noticed some added dimension during some flyovers. I could have been imagining it, who knows ?

Had to download from web site as well. Restarted a few times to see if the option to download from the game showed up but it did not. Played Nine Lakes (they finally added this course) - not really sure I am seeing any differences. I am running at WUXGA (1920 x 1200) at 60FPS on Ultra with my current set-up and no issues but system is using all 16GB or VRAM on the 4080 and 90% of GPU. CPU at approx. 20% (no cameras running this session). RAM at 30%.

That said, no hiccups, misreads and glitches in round though I was single player. Will play another round tomorrow while the Turkey does its thing.

Should add, I am still getting the constant download notice for Akron - really not sure what is going on there. Will download the course - it installs, then the next time I start the program it say I need to download again. Not a function of this update - it has been doing this for about 6 months or so.

I had this happen with Abu Dhabi Golf Club the other month. I ended up clearing up whatever was glitched on the backend by updating within FSX Play and then removing the course. Even though the course was "removed", it actually remained and the constant download update no longer pops up. It's almost like there were two competing versions of the same course.

By chance, when in a round or on the range, are you able to shift your data tiles from horizontal on the bottom to vertical on the left without issue?

Still running into issues the download manager.

Also still getting the player bug that a few people have mentioned, both in when starting a round as well as when adding to Favorites list via Settings.

Anyone having similar issues with those and/or the inability to view vertical data tiles within FSX Play, either on the range or on a course?

I've completed two fresh installs and can't seem to resolve.

Against my better judgement, I downloaded the new update and also Nine Lakes. Mark and his son Kyle came over to play this morning. Started playing Nine Lakes and Kyle took a mulligan on his tee ball. The mulligan took Marks name away and replaced it with another Kyle so now I have two Kyle’s playing. Just to see if it would happen again, played the Pitch and Putt course and it happened again. I have been playing Gspro with no problems but wanted to see if there were any changes in the new update. Big mistake. Foresight is so f..ked up

Interestingly enough this was exactly what was happening to me in the previous version, 1.9.0.10 which I was told was being patched in the newly released version. Not only is it still occurring, the same bug is causing issues with adding new players to the Favorites list.

By chance, do you happen to play with vertical data tiles and if so, did they display properly after you updated?

I've been fairly bug/glitch free over the last two versions but this new one is causing more problems than it's worth. It feels like they have us beta testing their publicly released versions...

ENadeau, I usually don’t play with any data tiles on. If I play Foresight again, I’ll check
                          Working...
