New help with a used BLP I just bought, want to get GSPro and Gold membership, I don’t mine the $750, but I heard I have to pay extra $250 to transfer ownership…I think that’s overkill, I saw ways to get around that fee, any body know the procedure to do that…The guy I got it from said he never put a CC on file, does that help my cause? Thanks for the help.

I just bought a BLP from another member on this forum. He had to log into his FSX Live account and change the email address to one of my choosing, as well as provide the password. I then logged in and changed the password. I did notice his credit card was on file as a payment method (he was subscribed to the Basic subscription) so I added my card and deleted his, and then sent him with a screenshot to show his card was deleted.
You could also provide the previous owner with the credit card number of a prepaid visa card of low value, and then he can delete his card (if there is one on file) and add yours before he changes the email address of the FSX Live account. Then you can change when you get control of the account.
Overall, it's an easy process. t's really just a matter of changing the login info to your email address. The trickiness comes if he has a credit card on file, but that's easy to get around with my tip above. -
