  • Swing camera

Hi all. I'm running GSPro (but also have FSX 2020/Play) on a GCQuad, and need help on swing camera integrations. My gaming desktop has ample power to run whatever software's needed, and I'm happy to pay for camera hardware. But I'm clueless as to what my best options are for a seamless experience for swing video integration. Ideally, swing video plays on my monitor while SIM stays on projector, but maybe that's not the ideal config? Any recommendations would be so helpful. Thank you in advance.

For software, if you want the easiest solution and don't mind spending the money, Swing Catalyst is probably your best bet. FSX 2020 has a decent camera integration, but I've never tried to run it along side of GSPro. My guess that its possible, but may require a lot of computing power. There are also several free options that work well along side GSPro, but require some learning/work to set them up properly (OBS and Kinovea). There are multiple threads on here that go through how to setup them up.

As far as cameras go, that depends on what software you pick. I've used the $80 from Aliexpress with both FSX (120 fps, 720P, color) and Kinovia without any issues. I'm pretty sure they work with OBS also.
