GC2 bluetooth with Windows 10 issue

Just received a GC2 yesterday (serial starting with A).

Issue 1: It will connect to my iPhone however when I try and open FSPerformance, the app will show Bluetooth as "Disconnected". I'm not able to get the app to recognize my connection.

Issue 2: The laptop Bluetooth finds and connects to the GC2 however after 2 seconds it immediately disconnects. I did connect via USB and update to the latest firmware but nothing changed.

I've read plenty of issues with GC2 connecting via Bluetooth but haven't seen any hard and fast resolutions. Can anyone offer any guidance?

Zero issues when using a separate usb bluetooth adaptor like the asus. You may want to give this a try. I built a new desktop and now just use the bluetooth that's integrated and it works without issue from about 14' away and through a wall.

Would the asus BT500 be what you are referring to?

Yes, I think at the time i was using the bt400. Also some users placed the adaptor close to the gc2 with an extension cable. I never had to do that. Mine was plugged into the keyboard which was about 8-9' away when I used it.

Well even though it showed as disconnected on the laptop, it magically connected and worked perfectly on GSPRO. Not asking questions
