GC2, HMT with Protee 2.0/TGC

    GC2, HMT with Protee 2.0/TGC

    I have read through the forums and apologize if this is already answered but I cannot see this.

    I just want to know if I were to get the Protee 2.0/TGC software will it work the the GC2 AND the HMT. I know it works with GC2 but just unsure about the HMT.

    Are there any issues with the HMT and Protee? Anything I need to be aware of?

    I recently purchased a GC2 and HMT directly from Foresight and I am ready to start building my home sim.

    I prefer to not spend money on the Foresight software if I dont need it.

    I don't believe the tgc software (shot analysis screen) pulls in and shows the hmt data, currently. Even if they do add hmt data to the shot analysis, my guess is it will probably be limited to data for club face and club path because that it what club data Protee hardware detects.

    I also have a gc2 and really contemplating adding hmt this year. I purchased the foresight software years ago with my unit so i plan to run tgc on the projector and run the foresight software via usb on a seperate monitor so i can always see that data if i want to.

    One option is to buy the $50 foresight fitting app for ipad to get all the gc2/hmt data via the app . I don't think you would be able to connect via bluetooth to the ipad and tgc at the same time. You could just use it separately.

    Tgc is absolutely awesome software for playing simulation golf but i dont see it ever giving you everything the foresight fitting software does for analysis.

          Do you guys put any stock TGC's clubhead data (e.g., path, club face angle) even though GC2 does not measure clubhead data? I'm wondering if it's generally correct


          The problem is GSX. We need the new GSX version which pull HMT data then pass it to Protee interface.
          I was helping GSX developer by giving him HMT data samples, he also sent me many bata versions of GSX for testing. However, he was too busy to complete it.

          Club data from HMT is very useful. It helps me develop my swing. It shows club data at impact moment, not many device could do it.

              I was in Las Vegas at the PGA Show and Foresight were offering show specials at the time. From memory, I paid $5500 for the HMT and $5950 for the GC2. I had to purchase them on the spot (no brainer as the pricing was great).

                I recommend you email Rick Cuellar directly on Rick Cuellar<rcuellar@foresightsports.com> and ask him what he can do for you. You can mention that a friend of yours (tell him Paul Sinclair from Australia) purchased the GC2 and HMT directly from him and if he can do a similar deal. Cant hurt to ask =)

                    This video shows off some of the foresight IOS App features and why in my opinion you need this at the very least to get everything out of the HMT. You can fast forward to about 5:35 where he shows the group of shots that he hit. At about 6:09 you can see where each one of the shots was hit on the driver face which is really a great feature.
