I got a good deal on a quad but it has no license attached. I talked to a rep at foresight and they want $3000!! for FSX2020 license key before they will let me then spend $300-$600 to go on a subsciption plan so I can play GSPRO. Truely unbeliveable. $500 fee ok fine. $3000 comon fsx2020 isnt even good software. Im so upset I might just sell the thing and stick with my mini lite just cause the way this company does business. But I want to Play the APEX software when it comes out and the Quad is definately a more accurate unit than the mini lite. But $3000 for software I wont even open is just too hard to stomach. Thanks if anyone can help

It's a tough one and doesn't do a lot to encourage players to use the software.
Possible that you could save a Thousand by buying an old FR1 dongle and upgrading.
Alternative is to sell the Quad and get a GC3 which will have FSX Play thrown in.
I have the GC3 and it's a good bit of kit, you really don't need all the extra data that a Quad can provide unless you are a club fitter or a tour pro.
I know that Foresight have 2 big price discount days for courses and pre-owned packages but not sure if they also discount FSX 2000 and Play - Black Friday was 50% off on courses and New Year was 65%, does anyone else know if they discounted FSX 2000 or Play?
