Can you tell we are all playing golf outside IRL while we can? - Looks like they snuck in a minor update late last week.

I installed it yesterday, along with latest firmware for my GC3.
My biggest gripe was the saving of in-game shortcuts -> now fixed.
All working great.

Don't know how much this changed but I had some issues with last update. Spoke to Foresight and did a complete uninstall and then re-install(first time since getting FSX Play). Then downloaded my courses thru the program. Since I had not really played much after messing around a bit around the British Open, I tried a couple courses and in particular Minot CC. I was amazed at how much better it was. The graphics and play were really good. So if you have any issues consider this.

So far so good with this update. Last version was working well for the most part but then all of a sudden, started getting "not able to send data" error messages after every shot.

Still having some issues with deleting and adding players.

Fired FSX Play up for the first time in 4 months or so as I've been using GSPro. Update ran fine and installed the latest version. Played 9 holes and had the launch monitor disconnect twice but was able to reconnect manually both times. Not sure what that was about and will give it another shot at some point.

On a positive note the Friends List carried over without issue. Almost every update over the last year and a half would completely delete the list forcing me to manually add 40-ish players each time. xslash10x What specific issues are you running into? I've experienced everything from being unable to add new players to the friends list to player names overwriting mid-round. Haven't done extensive testing as I haven't been using Play lately but if you need anything tested, let me know.

When I add my daughter as a player, it adds the same player twice. I also can't delete any players. I can click on Clear all Players but then when I go into the game, they're all in the game.

Just downloaded..... GC2 does not see shots now. It sees the ball, but not the shot. Works fine on FSX.

Wish I had seen this before I updated as am having the same issue. No issues with FSXPro or FSX2020. GC2 and HMT are operating normally and FSXPlay says it has found the ball but doesn't recognise the shot.

Thankfully, I did not delete my download of v.1.11.1.2 which I have reinstalled and it is working again. I had an hour for practice tonight but that was burned faffing about with this. It is astounding that Foresight would release it without the patch...they know how many of us are still using GC2s.

Updating my own question.......per foresight, the latest release is not compatible with the GC2. Patch is in the works

I totally agree !! It would be so easy for them to post 1 sentence. "Not compatible with GC2 or GC2/HMT."

I guess that is a compound sentence ......lol

I just installed this version of Play on new computer, find out it doesnt register shots from GC2, same observations as above. I entered a support ticket, sure hope that gets a response

I have GC2 and downloaded software update. Now not recording shots in FSX Play. When I disconnect from software GC2 works fine. When GC2 is connected in FSX Play I get message ball is found and can hit. However never records. On Foresight support page I see the older software versions but no link to download older version. Questions: 1) how do I remove this new version; 2) how do I find link to download previous software update ( no issues on previous version with using GC2 with FSX Play). I thank you in advance.

I called Foresight and they walked me through the process. I am no Tech guy, but it wasn't hard.

No. It's just not compatible with GC2 right now.

I was told an update would be out in about a week.............?.......
