Used HMT without mounting plate nut

    Hi all,

I purchased a used HMT from ebay and it appears to have come without the mounting nuts required to attach it to the GC2. Is the HMT still usable or is it critical that it's attached precisely to the GC2?

    Thanks!

I recently bought an HMT from a member on this site, and he forgot to include the mount plate nuts. Thankfully he had them and was able to send them to me. Unless you can machine the parts you need them to stabilize the bracket. Do what you can to get them otherwise look at returning the HMT.

Thanks for the response. It's annoying how such a small thing can be such a killer. From what I read, forsight might or might not have the mounting hardware and even if they do they will make you pay a transfer fee to get it.

The seller wasn't at his home but he's going to look tomorrow to see if he has the mount plate nuts (he responded very fast to my question). My fear is that he left them in the GC2 and sold that separately.

How have you been enjoying the HMT?

It was the best purchase of the year. It brought new life to the always-reliable GC2. I was using a Flightscope Xi Tour for club data, but the HMT is much more accurate and trustworthy.

Awesome, I always get buyers regret on this stuff right after I purchase it.
