So many updates FSX Play

Didi this update show up in the program (top right auto-update thingy)? It did not for me so I wonder if the auto-update function is really working? Does this mean i have course which need updated? And if so how do I know what to update them with because the course list on their website for download seems to include older versions than I have installed. I'm getting confused.

Courses will update independently of Play. If a course needs an update, the download icon with # indicator will light up on the top right of the Play main menu. Once you click on it, you'll see the courses that need updates.

The Play update overlay prompt and same download top right indicator "should" show up if the version updates 1.13 -> 1.14, but not minor versions 1.13.2 -> 1.13.3...

You could have both needing update, so best just to click on the download icon and see what's in there...

I just updated, and I update every time there’s an update. But it’s only ever told me once there was a new update within the program. Thus I don’t think it works reliably.

Mine didn’t either, so I downloaded it from their site. The previous update popped up when I started FSX Play and told me there was an update… but that was about 2 weeks after the release. I had a few courses updated with the last version too.
