FSX Play Practice Mode - Distance to Pin always wrong

I have Foresight Sports FSX Play Subscription. In practice mode, the “distance to pin” measurement is consistently wrong. Anyone else seeing this problem?

I hit a shot and watch the results on my screen. All the data aligns with the shot I feel I hit: launch angle, ball speed, push/pull, spins, visual flight, etc. I love this. But one measurement is way off the mark, and that is distance to pin. If I hit a shot that visually looks like it’s within 10 ft, the distance to pin can often show 20-30 yards as distance to pin. When I hit “replay” on the software, it completely mismatches what I saw on the screen. The carry distance does not match my monitor, there is no spin factored into the replay, etc.

This is very frustrating because I mostly play distance games with friends when they are here….how close can you get to pin vs the next person. It’s always wrong and doesn’t match the data the launch pro and software show in real time when playing.

I saw this exact issue with a really old version (earlier than 1.11 iirc) and it even broke the replay (big time!). I thought this was fixed in a recent version, but I'd have to try it again to confirm...

The root cause was having "Wait for Spin" unchecked in the Game Options menu...

Turning that back on (which is the default setting) made everything normal again.

Try checking that setting first, then look at what version of Play you have...

“Wait for Spin” was the trick! Thank you so much. I thought I had checked and unchecked every option to test this, but obviously had not. Greatly appreciate your help!
