GC3 Geographical relocation fee

I have just moved from Asia to Europe and Foresight looking for a fee of £1500 to enable the use of my 3 year old GC3 which I have brought with me to the UK . Has anyone encountered this issue, Is this normal or is there any way around it. All comment would be appreciated.

Im afraid not bud, in fact, I've been quoted more in the past by both Foresight Europe and Foresight USA. It will work just data without internet i believe? ALso, I think some folk have had success by using a VPN set to the original region

I paid I think $2000 when I brought my GCQ to Europe. It is not what I would call the most customer-friendly policy from Foresight. But I do not know of any good way around it.

Seems to help if you call prior to needing anything involving a change. I really can't speak to location change but I can to product ownership change. Foresight charges up to $1000 to change owners. I've had the cost waived twice by callings before I made the purchase.
