Whilst my GC3 is having a fault repaired, I got hold of a Square Golf unit. The gameplay is excellent given the bargain £700 price and has so many features that used to be in FSX 2020 plus others. The hole map has clear OB and hazard lines, shows where everyone is on the hole and has a faint White bar moving across the map to show the wind direction. You have all players scores and distances to the hole showing. The figures are clear but compact (and the yardages are accurate). The green contour indicators are like FSX 2020 which was much better than FSX Play. Finally, you get a nice puff of sand when you land in a bunker, a small detail but it all adds up. In many respects, it puts FSX Play to shame. Come on Foresight, lets make this better, you charge a lot for the software and it's being beaten by a new low end competitor.
