I use the wifi connection for my quad and it has been pretty terrible since I got it. Once I get it connected, it generally works but it can take a while to get it connected and working. I decided to go ahead and update the firmware with the hopes that Foresight did their job and worked out the issues. Big mistake.
Now, essentially NONE of the software integrations work. FSX Pro, Play, 2020, Awesome Golf, GS Pro, and Golfisimo are all giving me issues. After a lot of trial and error I have been able to get it to connect to the FSX products and if I launch GSPro and delete the connection configuration, close it, re-open it then it will connect to the quad. But the next time I launch the software I have to go through the entire process again.
The unit is connected to wifi, the software is seeing it, but they all refuse to connect. Golfisimo is giving me an Error Appkey is invalid, Awesome Golf says Unable to connect, GS Pro is just "connecting..." but never does, 2020 said "failed to connect", Pro said "failed" and Play just gave me the spinning circle endlessly.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I've re-installed Golfisimo, and FSX Play, plus tried re-installing the firmware on the quad, doing a hard reset, restarting my PC. Even when I hardwire it with a USB cable it is not connecting to the software.
I have a sim night with friends scheduled for tomorrow and I would hate to cancel it because of lazy programming on Foresights part.
