Last week there was an issue with Microsoft Azure which prevented FSX Play from being validated and would not work. The problem was apparently fixed and the program worked, but for the last 2 days I cannot gain access to the server, constantly getting an error the Foresight server cannot be reached. I am able to open FSX 2020 and play as usual. I un-installed and re-installed FSX Play but the same thing. I cannot find any comments from anyone if they are having the same problem. Tech support is not available since it is the weekend. Even their tech support line has a pre recorded message saying everything is OK. Wondering if the same problem is happening, but I cannot find anyone else out there commenting on this. Anyone's help would be appreciated.

I was able to update courses and software on Thursday. As far as I am aware, things are back to normal. Frustrating you cannot get support on the weekends but they have always called me back within a reasonable time and fixed any issues I have had.
While you are waiting you might check your firewall / antivirus settings as they are a common issue - run program as an administrator etc. Also check all cords and cables. If you are on WIFI try a network cable etc. .....

Thanks very much for your reply. I tried checking everything you said but I am not too savvy when it comes to firewall and network issues. Your last suggestion of connecting my computer with an ethernet cable actually worked! I was able to connect to FSX Play immediately. I have no idea why my WIFI would now cause a problem after several years of use with Foresight Sports apps. I have the Eero mesh network but it has been working with FSX play all along and I did not make any hardware or intentional configuration changes. Not sure if I should call my ISP or Eero support. I guess I will have to check with both unless Foresight gets back to me to suggest something different. Not sure if this points to anything obvious but I tried based on what I could find using Google searches.
