Rather fed up with having some of the most expensive software out there and finding it to be a huge disappointment.
Foresight charge twice the cost of a high end computer game for basic courses which are either buggy or poorly thought out.
Not talking about hardcore tech issues, but basic gameplay stuff that could probably taken care of if they create an AI programme that could quickly interrogate the course software and tidy up issues.
Having used the Square Golf unit for a few weeks whilst my GC3 was being repaired (used a couple of times a week for sim play, not daily coaching and the LED unit failed after a year!) and was knocked out by the sharper graphics, game play, course maps and so on.
This made me realise that we need to insist on better.
I'll start with some supplemental posts and hopefully we can identify issues with basic gameplay and course glitches, amass a load of likes and start to apply some group pressure.

STABLEFORD SCORING
Why do you still get gross scores when playing stableford?
When we have a group playing, we have to regularly check scorecards to see who is leading.

HOLE MAPS - OUT OF BOUNDS

How many times have you hit a shot and found that the ball is OB despite no indication at all.
The hole map should clearly identify all the hazards.

Been on this for a while now and I really don't think it's taken seriously by Foresight.
If StalefishFS3 is right it's been abandoned and we'll get charged a 4 figure sum to upgrade to FSX Play 26 or whatever they call it plus whatever PC upgrades are needed becuse they can't programme in an efficient way.
We've all been short changed here.

Rumor is that Foresight is completely abandoning FSXPlay and rebuilding their software from the ground up. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw a sneak peak at the 2026 PGA show.

That would explain a lot.
We'll get to pay a lot of money to upgrade to something that should have worked the first time with no guarantees that it'll be any better.

I’ve been an FSX user since the first version in 2016, and reported bugs back then that still haven’t been fixed.

I gave up reporting them a long time ago, as they’re not interested.

If they bring out a 2026, I hope my courses transfer over, and I also hope they bring back ‘inside 6ft’ as it was one of my favourite features of 2020!
