Protee Interface for GC2

Having some issues. My Protee Interface keeps quitting. I can't connect to my GC2. Been using this for 12 years and now suddenly having issues. The computer is paired with the GC2 in the Bluetooth settings, but when I try to connect, the Protee Interface just quits. I open the Interface, and when I hover over the icon in the bottom right of the taskbar... it just disappears/quits. Any advice? I emailed Protee and they really didn't help. Their answer was "we don't support connections to Foresight connections to TGC"

Well this stinks. I've reinstalled the GSX and the Protee Interface. Same problem happens. Protee isn't helping and I am not computer savvy enough to figure it out. Does anyone have any advice?

I had an issue and had to replace the bluetooth dongle and when i did, it started working again. With the old dongle, even though it showed connected on the computer, it wouldn't work.

I don't think the problem is the GSX. It connects just fine - then, when I start TGC2019, I see the ProTee Interface just quits. I try again, same thing. I restart my computer, same thing. After restarting the computer 4 or 5 times... then it magically doesn't quit and will work.

My computer is older - maybe there's an issue with that. I really don't know - and I'm not computer savvy so that doesn't help

I try again, - now both say "connected"
I start up TGC2019.... GSX immediately has both "disconnected"
I hover over the tray where the Protee Interface icon is - and poof, it disappears/quits
Try again, same result
Restart computer, start the whole process over.
Same result
Restart computer, try again
It works this time

That's been the pattern for the last week or so. Sometimes I have to restart the computer 4 or 5 times to get it to work. If I don't restart the computer - I instantly get a "connection refused" message on the bottom (outgoing) port.

Makes no sense to me - but again, I'm only mildly computer savvy

Connection refused means ProTee interface isn’t running. If the top one says connected that is the PC so Bluetooth should be ok. I suggest you try my interface. Try it Bluetooth and failing that try it usb. Let me know what happens. We are making progress.
