Gotta give credit where credit is due. Foresight Premier is pretty solid

I have a lifetime unlocked account from when I originally purchased my GC3 and been using Play ever since with a lot of headaches and working through countless bugs. Got an email from Foresight saying that with my account, I now have Premier Silver and Course Pass for free so I installed it and tried it out. It didn't start out great as I had a lot of issues loading the app once installed and had to google for answers and change some network settings. Finally got it to load.

Played one round and played around with the training areas of the app and so far, it is MUCH better than Play. Didn't encounter any bugs so far and the UI is miles better than Play. Biggest downside so far is that I had over 50 courses in Play that haven't moved over to Premier (maybe they never will) but with 30+ courses available through Course Pass, I'm ok with that. I mainly use it for practice and not playing courses anyways.

Hard pass on Premier and they can keep their “free silver sub and course pass” after attempting to screw over existing customers.

If you had to google for answers and change network settings that sounds kinda buggy and unfinished to me.

When are people going to get fed up with being guinea pigs and crash test dummies for companies.

i received the email. I am looking forward to trying it out. I think what they did is fair. I hope that all of the courses that I did purchase move over. I too mostly use my GC Quad for practice and some virtual play.

Question about the app. On the iPad when I use my GC3, I do not see anything under the courses tab. Do you see any of the 30?

The ipad version of the app isn't the full version afaik. It's mainly to be used out on the driving range to read and save shot data.

Well done Foresight, a free upgrade to their latest software as well as converting 35 of my old purchased courses is great, not many companies give you a free upgrade so well done Foresight, if continues I will upgrade my quad to latest version next year.
