luv2golf you mentioned $1,000 SDK. If I had a GC2, could I go to the site you posted above and only need to purchase The Golf Club Simulator (TGC 2016) for $995 or would I also need to purchase another software to interface with the GC2 and TGC software? Or does this $995 price include the 3rd party app needed to run TGC with GC2?

Bubba stated soft putts and short chips work with Skytrak/TGC. That's making me question everything because I am on the fence of selling my Skytrak and going the GC2 route.

Thanks for any info you provide!

If you have a GC2, buy software from swingsense and they'll give you everything you need.

As for Skytrak it works fine with chips and putts with TGC. If you go on YouTube, there's a video of a guy playing in a tournament last summer. Skytrak just hasn't released it. You need to get it from them.

The SDK fee is something that foresight is charging to buyers. If you bought a used GC2 there would be no SDK fee. If you bought a used GC2 or new one then yes, all you do is go to https://www.swingsense.com/en/store/software and purchase the software. There is no 3rd party app. It runs off your computer like any other computer game.

Sit on the fence, research, read more, ask more questions, there's no right or wrong answer. It's like any purchase, you might want a mercedes but can only afford a honda. It's not wrong, it's just the way it is.

BOTTOM LINE IS, I'M PLAYING SIM GOLF ON MY GC2. That's why I sold my skytrak. So I could play sim golf,

Thanks luv2golf that's the answer I was looking for. Yeah, I know you sold your Skytrak and playing with a GC2 now. I'm jealous. That's why I'm debating selling my Skytrak...haha!

Your welcome, I bought my GC2 for $3400. I thought that was a fair price.

Yeah, I know this info is out there somewhere. Sometimes its hard to find. Just looking for a direct answer about whether I need anything else other than the $995 TGC purchase because I've heard about also needing the 3rd Party App.

Yeah I've repeated myself with comments/answers on the Skytrak forums. It's just part of being on a forum and having ongoing discussions. Thanks!

Edit: luv2golf posted the answer above in a comment. Thanks!

Hey Mike80, the banging my head comment wasn't directed to you and not just this thread. If it was, I wouldn't of answered the questions.
      Working...
