    Used buy or not

    Want to do perfect golf and or tgc.

    Will this one work and is there any other software I need to buy?

    What should I offer him?

          I'm guessing he bought it from 2nd Swing (they are in Minneapolis). If it's a cash deal, turn it on and test it. I'd say $3,000 cash is more than fair, depends on how bad you want it.

              According to what I found out last week, TGC needs the Bluetooth to work and many of the 2nd swing GC2s did not have Bluetooth working.

                  Does bluetooth work on this one? I say go for it. I'd ask why he's selling though.

                      So I bought a used GC2 on ebay, I was a bit skeptical spending $3400 on a used piece of equipment. That being said, everything worked out great. Got it on Friday, setup was a breeze, did a firmware update. The only issue I had was launch angle was really low, so I ran the GC2 calibration program and all was fixed!!!

                          Nope, not apple compatible, which is bit unfortunate, but I didn't feel justified to spend extra $$.

                          Yes, it's bluetooth. All GC2's are bluetooth.

                                    LOL, as davray mentioned, it's not even close. Think about the original pong video game and then think about when donkey kong came out. Very similar, E6 was good in it's time, but PG is 10X better.

                                      My comment was on the current state of the ST + E6 combo.
                                      When they release the official bug free integration with proper putting support and some adjustments to straighten out the chips. I am sure it will be much better.
                                      That's when the status will be upgraded to something other than broken Chienese bicycle.
                                      Can't imagine they will ever reach the level of GC2 + any sim. But it might come close enough to make it really fun to play.
