GC2 vs GC2-T

After reading the forums, I will be buying a GC2 for a home simulation setup in the basement. Don't plan to take the GC2 outside. Also will be buying Protee 2.0 and TGC. Should I buy the GC2-T? My understanding is that is the only difference is the GC2-T not having a battery or a LED display. I assume it has Bluetooth which I understand is needed in order to use TGC.. Thanks in advance. (By the way, I am open to a used one if anyone has one for sale.)

Unless your going to use the foresight software I would recommend a regular gc2 because of the display on the unit showing you if the ball is in its view before you can hit. The foresight software has a feature in the software itself that will show you if the ball is within the area the gc2 can see - so in this scenario a gc2-t works fine.

Tgc or PG will not be able to show you this onscreen so you would have a bit more difficult time getting the ball I n the zone. Not saying you couldn't do it as the area the gc2 can see is around 4* 6 so you could mark it off or just kind of get used to where it is. Seeing they are the same price I would choose gc2 because of this.

No chance. The T is like a hundred bucks less and doesn't have a screen, battery or ability to connect to an HMT. Absolutely not worth it. Plus, it's area to put the ball is smaller and, as Js said, you won't have the readout on screen showing where to put the ball. Now, if it was a lot less money, it would be different.
