No, it's not mine. Just sharing with the community.

Thanks for sharing. We can probably use this thread to follow the ones that come up.

For those that are searching for used GC2s, eBay at least lets you setup a notification system that when a new listing matches the parameters that you describe (ie launch monitor, GC2, GC2a, foresight...etc) you get an email.

Can come in handy if you're waiting to strike on a pretty scarce supply...

I actually don't know eBay too well and if some transactions are real or not. This really sold for $2,800 just 2 days ago?

And what is a Nike Golf unit?

That's just a GC2 that was sold to Nike, obviously, for use in one of their testing facilities or to take on the road with some kind of promotional event, maybe a demo day or something.

Pretty standard stuff. Flightscope has their Tayloremade launch monitor (just a Xi+). They buy the hardware/software and license to put their own advertisement on it.

I'd be interested to know if their is special proprietary software they use with it. I'm....90% (maybe) sure that it would just function like a regular GC2 otherswise though.

I'm sure this seller wasn't supposed to sell it though, one of those not for resale type deals. Foresight might be hesitant to repair anything broke, in my experience.

Wow and a nike one going for $2800, that's not bad at all. Was it anyone on here that won it?

It's not a GC2 - if you look at the pictures, it's a smaller really early version with "Wintriss Engineering" branding and a G100 part number.

(EDIT: My bad, the lcd is tilted up - didn't recognize)

Wintress is the patent holder on the technology and also in San Diego - they make high speed cameras and software for inspecting fast moving materials in factories.

A Complete guess...but...Seeing the Nike branded early version leads me to believe that Wintress developed the technology and ultimately ended up working with Foresight - for marketing and distribution. (or maybe developed for Foresight)

Not unlike the SkyGolf relationship with Rapsodo from Singapore who made the SkyTrak.

Rapsodo seems to be attempting to market the baseball version themselves for now in NA www.rapsodo.com.

Right. So my assumption that it's like the Taylormade LM (TM branded Xi+) is not right.

But more than likely it's exactly like the GC2, as far as hardware is concerned, just like the Rapsodo launch monitor is exactly like the Skytrak, regarding hardware.

Knowing that, it makes me a little more skeptical that it would work with TGC or PG...etc.

I just stuck a photo up - the back is half the height of the "current" GC2 - totally different form factor.

That's an illusion because the bottom portion is angled up, covering a part of the upper portion in that picture. It's the same device.

I saw that Nike one the other morning. I did a couple quick google searches trying to find out if there was a difference and couldn't really tell. I figured buyer protection had me covered if it wasn't a GC2 so I went to buy it and it was already sold. This all occurred in about a 3 minute stretch, didn't even get out of bed. Ahhhhh....The one that got away....

Yes, I saw it too. What concerned me what the GC100 Model number. Maybe there's no bluetooth? Be curious to know who bought if it works with TGC or PG?

Hi everyone. I have been reading this forum for a little while but never introduced myself. I bought the Nike Foresight launch monitor on eBay the other day, and it is supposed to get delivered tomorrow. I pretty much had the same thought process as SwingHarder. I couldn't find much info about it but figured the eBay buyer protection would have me covered so there was nothing to lose. I plan on using it with PG, so hopefully I can get it to work! I have enjoyed reading all of the info that you guys have posted and hopefully I can play some rounds online with you guys soon!

I'm glad to see it was at least someone from the forum who got it. Congrats. Its a steal if everything is in good working condition.

That's great, if the bluetooth and everything works well you got the best buy since the summer time. I see the buyer took your offer, what did you actually pay for it?
