My buddy just bought a new set up Volkey SM5's in Gold Nickel. I use SM5 in Tour Chrome. I don't get misreads but he's getting them only with those wedges on 80-100 yard shots. It was bad so missing chips and everything so I changed the flash. Now Hes getting a few still. Does anyone else know anything about this? It's only with Gold Nickel Volkeys.

I have the vokey sm5 in tour chrome too..58. 54 and 50. Never had any mis-reads with them.
My buddy who I have over alot plays Cleveland gold (they rust) and he's good too.
I can grab a golf nickel from our pro-shop and try it at my house.
