I'm playing PG with gc2. I have TGC on steam, but have not paid to use it as a simulator, and I probably never will. PG seems to have everything I need.
TGC to me just seems so much more like a game rather than a simulation experience. PG just looks/feels a little more realistic. Plus it is still in beta and once they release the full game and course forge we are going to see some unbelievable course recreations that are very accurate.

I tend to agree driverdivots. Without a demo of TGC for us to try it's hard to pull the trigger on something that there's no way to try.
I know people on here extol the greatness of the game and I'm sure it's a very good sim. But for the cost, there should be a try before you buy.

I play both tours. Both are amazing. Both are very accurate. PG has a lot of better features such as multi tee plus Mini map and tgc wins on the courses. Some of the courses are unbelievable. Both have great graphics. I really couldn't say which is better. I think the graphics thing is a personal preference because I like the look of TGC but a lot like pg.My Courses:

Most of the guys use the same username on both tours and not all of them read every post or thread.Originally posted by Willymakit View PostCome on guys I'm looking for feed back between the two that are playing both tours.
Maybe try pm'ing those players if your anxious and looking for immediate feedback.

I have both and think both are great and fun to play
Graphics should not be the deciding factor nor should the amount of courses real or not real. Courses that are sim friendly are important.
Both will have more than enough courses to choose from.
Both are accurate but are very different on how they handle different shots.
Putting, Chipping, Pitching, how greens receive the ball, how the ball comes out of the sand, how rough is handled are different for both.
I’m not sure anyone can really say which one is better between any of them.
It will come down to which one you like more and which one is more like how the courses are in your area.
Both are new and kind of beta sim ware and I’m sure both will have all stuff like mini map and multiple tees but will always handle the calculations for different situations differently.
Good luck and just buy both if you can

I own TGC, and I'll probably pick up PG if they offer a reasonable, non-contract monthly option.
Depends on how much free time I have. I'm struggling to play 2 rounds a week to play on the TGC right now, so currently, can't imagine that 2 software options makes sense for me personally.

Personally, I only got PG because it was 20 bucks. I actually like the scout cam over mini map except seeing how far it is to water or bunkers. One person said the courses don't matter but I dissagree. I hit the ball IRL farther than the console game does so I love the console courses. I mainly play them
