    GC2 3.10 Firmware

i had lot of problem with my GC2 and TGC

too low backspin especially wedge shot.. couldnt read ball when i used long tee, and too much wrong direction putting..

so i couldnt enjoy TGC.. just i used it for practice.

i used 3.08 firmware before. and i thought GC2 accurate isnt good.

but i found that 3.10 new firmware in foresight hompage.

after update 3.10 firmware.. everything was changed and stable then 3.08

so now i can enjoy TGC real game.

so i want to share this.

if have any problem, update to 3.10

It's been discussed that the most accepted/accurate firmwares seem to be either 3.5 or 3.10. I'm on 3.10, tried 3.5 and didn't notice any difference. I'm back on 3.10.

I agree goat. I tried both. The big difference is 3.5 has the flash counter which matters to some.

I'm confused. I'm in the process of building a sim and was initially looking at the gc2 but the rep told me I HAD to use FSX and that TGC was not supported. I checked TGC website which said the same thing.

Take your time with your research and read the forums. Foresight doesn't make any money off of third party software so they don't support it. They work fine.

Is there anything special you need to do to get it to work? This is one of the reasons I was leaning AWAY from doing s GC2 in my new project. Thanks!

When you purchase the golf club, it comes essentially everything you need. There are very detailed instructions on this forum how to set it up, and pro tee united offers support if needed. The only thing you might need is a bluetooth extender, but I think that is all. For me the Golf Club works so smooth with the GC2 that I wouldn't lean away from purchasing one. I also have FSX software and find myself playing The Golf Club a lot more often.

I am a HS Coach with a GC2 and looking for the least expensive solution to set up a driving range for the team to practice indoors (have the Foresight App. but looking for better graphics). Acouple of courses would be great, but I will be paying for this out of my own pocket so cost is a consideration. TGC seems to be spoken of highly, but on the swingsense website it states all Pro Tee and TGC software "not compatible with Foresight GC2". Are there any issues here - suggestions for the best fit for my application/cost consideration? Thanks!
